Smith Introduces High Purity Grade Silverline Gas Regulators

- Easy-to-read, highly accurate 2.5-inch gauges
- Regulator bodies machined from bar stock to prevent out-gassing
- Complete line has over 10,000 possible configurations
- Purity levels up to 99.999%

WATERTOWN, SD. June 5, 2006-Smith Equipment recently introduced its complete line of Smith Silverline specialty gas regulation equipment. Available for general purpose, high purity, high purity analytical, corrosion resistance or special purpose applications, Smith's Silverline specialty gas regulators provide purity levels of up to 99.999%. For quick delivery, Smith Equipment ships most standard Smith Silverline regulator configuration orders within 24-hours to welding and gas supply distributors.

Smith's new Sure Seat(TM) technology-a filtered seat encapsulated within a single-piece cartridge- ensures positive seating, an overall cleaner gas flow and extended regulator and gauge service life. The Sure Seat's one-piece design allows for quick and easy replacement, provides excellent leak-resistance and allows only pure gas to flow through the outlet.

Smith Silverline specialty gas regulators are available with a wide variety of CGA inlet connections, outlet valves and a wide range of outlet pressure options-with a possibility of over 10,000 different configurations. Smith's New Specialty Gas Regulation Equipment Catalog features the complete offering of Silverline specialty gas regulators with stainless steel or nickel-plated brass surfaces for corrosive and non-corrosive gasses.

Smith Silverline specialty gas regulators are manufactured in the USA to exacting standards and are 100% tested with Helium for added leak integrity. To prevent contamination and out-gassing, all Smith Silverline regulator bodies and gas handling surfaces are manufactured from solid brass or 316 stainless steel bar-stock. All general purpose, analytical and high purity analytical regulators feature nickel plated bodies to extend service life, while the Smith Silverline high purity series features stainless steel bodies to provide an elevated level of sterility for critical, high purity applications.
