MCH-5: Palm-Sized Motion Checker Offers Enhanced Convenience with Memory and Programming Features
June 2, 2006
Nippon Pulse America introduces the Motion Checker MCH-5, a RoHS compliant, palm-sized stepper motor controller with a built in constant voltage driver. Motion Checker MCH-5 helps engineers get started with their stepper motor project right away or helps students to learn stepper motor control easily. Operating the Motion Checker MCH-5 is very simple. Its front panel controls allow you to enable various settings, such as rotation direction, speed control, position control, operation mode, stop time of your stepper motor, and homing operation.
The Motion Checker MCH-5 motion profiles can be set to run indefinitely or for a set number of times, making life testing operations very simple. The Motion Checker MCH-5 is easy-to-use, compact, lightweight, and mobile with built-in 2-phase stepper motor driving circuit.
The Motion Checker MCH-5 is a stand-alone controller whose mobility is well suited for field-testing and inspection of stepper motor driven equipment outside the factory. The Motion Checker MCH-5 allows the user to connect to other external driving circuits enabled by pulse/direction output signals and to connect to external inputs. The Motion Checker MCH-5 is equipped with memory capability so that your program settings are retained for repetitive use.
The built-in driver is intended for tin-can type stepper motors. It is available in a bipolar (400mA rated, 700mA peek) or unipolar (250mA rated, 400mA peek) driver configuration.
The list price of Motion Checker MCH-5, including a selected stepper motor and 12VDC power supply, is $200.00 each.
