Dectron Internationale Develops Bio-CircŪ Complete Air Filtration System
MONTREAL, May 30 -- Dectron Internationale Inc. (NASDAQ:DECT)(NASDAQ:/)(NASDAQ:TSX:)(NASDAQ:DTL) announced today that it has developed Bio-Circ(R), a full spectrum air filtration system designed for critical applications.
Dectron Internationale's R&D team has taken its expertise in gas-phase air purification technology and combined it with leading edge ultraviolet germicidal properties to create Bio-Circ(R). "This patent-pending integration of UV-V and UV-C technologies achieve a very reliable solution for controlling airborne biological agents and reducing steady-state concentrations of particulate and gaseous pollutants", stated Brian Monk, Vice-President Sales & Marketing of Circul-Aire, subsidiary of Dectron Internationale. "This technology will permit us to service the 'retro-fit' market in a meaningful way, in that any existing facility or building can benefit from our pollutant and toxin abatement system. With this we can offer a superior hygiene alternative to the thousands of hospitals, clinics, medical centers as well as schools and public gathering places where air security, not just air quality, is a priority."
The new technology was launched at this year's AHR show in Chicago and is commercially available through the company's network of manufacturer agents and distributors in North America, The Middle East and Asia.
Bio-Circs(R) have already been installed in in-vitro fertilization clinics, hospital isolation rooms and dental surgery areas. "We are very pleased with the performance of the systems we have installed in these critical environments", stated Ness Lakdawala, President and CEO.
