MARSHFIELD, Mass., May 24 -- Kirwan Surgical Products, a leading manufacturer of bipolar electrosurgical products, has announced the introduction of the most progressive 70-watt irrigating bipolar electrosurgical coagulator on the market, the AURA(TM)Plus.
"The AURA(TM) coagulator was designed around the needs and preferences of surgeons. One key feature is the LCD touch screen, which can be intensified or reduced for optimal viewing. The accommodating touch-pad controls allow the user to easily adjust settings. The output level is displayed in both watts and Malis(TM) units with power settings ranging from 0-70 watts. The footswitch is capable of controlling power only, irrigation only, or both power and irrigation. This unit also has a peristaltic irrigation pump with an adjustable flow rate ranging from 0 - 50 CCs per minute, and the stand is conveniently located on the back of the unit for holding the irrigation bag.
