PLEASANTON, Calif., May 22 -- With more than two million sold to date, the familiar, triangular-shaped Polycom SoundStation(R) conference phones have become a standard for voice quality and performance in conference rooms around the globe. Today, Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLCM), the world's leading provider of unified collaborative communications solutions, announced two new VoiceStation(TM) conference phones designed to enhance the conferencing experience for smaller meeting rooms and executive offices, including the first Polycom conference phone to feature Bluetooth wireless support for added flexibility and mobility. The affordable VoiceStation 300 and 500 conference phones feature a compact, stylish design that is 33 percent smaller than other Polycom models, and deliver Polycom's award-winning Acoustic Clarity Technology for full duplex, natural group conferencing that minimizes background echoes, word clipping and distortion to provide a high-quality voice conferencing experience.

VoiceStation 300 - Polycom quality and performance for small meeting rooms and offices
The VoiceStation 300 leverages 12 years of market-leading Polycom Acoustic Clarity Technology, which offers crisp voice quality and natural two-way communication delivered through a high-performance speaker and three finely tuned microphones for 360-degree room coverage. The phone's compact design makes it ideally suited for smaller meeting environments and executive offices.
VoiceStation 500 - Polycom's first conference phone with Bluetooth wireless support
The VoiceStation 500 features the same voice conferencing quality and performance as the VoiceStation 300, and adds embedded Bluetooth wireless support enabling users to connect wirelessly to a mobile phone for conference calls, or to a computer for use with Internet calling services such as Skype, making it an ideal desktop device. If Bluetooth wireless capability is unavailable, users can also connect using an accompanying cable through an applications port on the phone.

Availability
The Polycom VoiceStation 300 and 500 will be available in June in the U.S. through Polycom certified channel partners for a MSRP of US$299 and US$399 respectively.
