Materials Tester Upgrade System Featuring the Smart Indicator
Electro Standards Laboratories' Materials Tester Upgrade System featuring the Model 4215 Smart Indicator provides state-of-the-art electronics to older tensile testing test frames. The system includes the calibration quality Model 4215, an industry standard load cell and extensometer, and Excel compatible dataView software. Electro Standards' dataView software provides test statistics, computerized data acquisition, setup, calibration and color plotting on standard printers. The generated charts are easy to read and the flexible software easily creates custom reports.
The Model 4215 Smart Indicator is the heart of the system. This precision instrument combines force channels, encoder position channels, print capabilities, and RS232/485 serial communications into a versatile platform that can be customized to deliver the most powerful and affordable instrumentation in its class. The 4215 features TEDS-Tag Auto Load Cell Identification, a fully bipolar range of +/- 999,999 display, and 24-bit resolution.
To use the Materials Tester Upgrade System, simply attach the load cell to a manual or motorized test frame, connect the extensometer to the sample under test, turn on the Model 4215 and begin running tests. Applications include tensile, compression, peel, adhesives, textiles, and wire testing.
