New Sophisticated Models Join REGO-FIX's Line of Toolmaster TM10 Presetters
Company partners with RealVision, Inc. to offer customers additional presetter software options
Indianapolis, Indiana, May 3, 2006 - REGO-FIX recently added the new SMART model and advanced TCAM2 model to its existing line of Toolmaster TM10 Presetters. The TM10 Presetters Series, which includes the standard touch-off model, brings high quality Swiss precision, extensive capability, ease of use and an affordable price to the market.
With the addition of the SMART and sophisticated TCAM2 models, the series now offers fine adjustment capabilities, a calibration master mandrel that comes free with any machine purchase, and a unique needle bearing basket, which successfully counteracts the effects of debris and scratches.
REGO-FIX's new SMART presetter is a basic camera unit with a 3" color screen that has displays for X and Z axis tool setting. This model is ideal for those requiring no contact. Precise glass AcuRite scales will accurately measure the dimensions of the tool, and provides absolute and deviation measuring for each axis. The SMART comes standard with 40 and 50 taper models, and has adapters available for other sizes.
The company's user-friendly TCAM2 presetter is the most advanced model in the series. This model comes standard with features and benefits found in previous models, as well as a 6.7" LCD display with chip edge inspection. This extra large display is ideal for easy viewing, while the chip edge inspection feature enables users to view in extreme detail. Additionally, the TCAM2's display features drop-down menus and is operated by the click of a mouse.
All presetter models use electronic parallel correction. Each model also produces run-out less than 0.00008" with its patented Needle Bearing Basket. The compact tabletop units are suitable for all tool measuring and presetting applications, and do not require any special computer or programming knowledge. All models are designed to be on the shop floor next to the machines.
In addition to these features, and as a result of the recent partnership between REGO-FIX and RealVision, Inc., all three models can come with with RealVision Inc. software, ToolManager(TM) and webDNC(TM).
ToolManager, a professional tool management system, offers full data basing of tool information including graphics and drawings, inventory, tool geometry, tool lists and kits, and tool components. Other features include powerful purchasing and receiving functions and a complete gage management system.
Additionally, ToolManager's tool presetter interface is compatible with RealVision's webDNC. This DNC solution enables REGO-FIX presetters to communicate with machines. webDNC features automatic machine monitoring, download tool lists, download tool offsets, and the ability to submit maintenance requests from the machine.
As two companies with shared goals and values, REGO-FIX and RealVision, Inc. will continue to build on each other's strengths and capitalize on each other's expertise, while providing unmatched service and support to its customers.
