April 19, 2006 - Open-cell Fireflex Foam is resistant to chemicals and useful for installation in high temperature harsh environments. It withstands heat up to 482°F and continuous temperatures up to 320°F. Panels can be custom engineered meet specific requirements and are suited for welding cells, power generating areas, robotic assembly stations, or anywhere noise control is needed.

Custom Engineered Class One Fire Rated Acoustical Foam


Tecnifoam Inc is pleased to announce the availability of their Fireflex Foam, an open cell, light weight, low density, and chemical resistant foam. Applications vary from welding cells, power generating areas, robotic assembly stations or anywhere noise control is needed.

Fireflex Foam is particularly useful for installation in high temperature harsh environments. The unique characteristics of Fireflex, enables the foam to withstand heat up to 482 degrees F. and continuous temperatures up to 320 degrees F.

Tecnifoam's foam acoustic panels are used to absorb noise in nearly every setting imaginable and can typically be custom engineered to meet specific requirements. Tecnifoam products that are constructed of either white or light gray Fireflex include: Fabtec, Anechoic Wedge, Max Wedges, Pyramid Panels and Hanging Baffles.
