New Product Protects and Cushions Workers' Knees Across Diverse Working Environments
ST. PAUL, Minn. (April 6, 2006) - Ergodyne today introduced its new foam rubber ProFlex® kneeling pads, extending the company's product offerings for knee protection. Available in three sizes, the kneeling pads provide workers with comfort and protection when kneeling or standing on hard surfaces.
ProFlex kneeling pads are made of a thick, closed-cell foam rubber, which will not compression set. They are silicon-free, non-marring, non-conductive, and resistant to petroleum products and other liquids. To provide more options for differing work environments and individual safety needs, the kneeling pads are available in three sizes - the ProFlex 380 (14"x 21"x1"), ProFlex 385 (16"x 28"x1") and ProFlex 390 (18"x36"x1"). The ProFlex 380 kneeling pad offers workers the most portability with a convenient handle and compact size, while the larger ProFlex 385 and 390 kneeling pads protect workers with a larger work surface and beveled safety edge.
"Knee protection is a vital safety consideration for workers," said Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne. "Our new ProFlex kneeling pads deliver the comfort and safety benefits of knee pads, but they are also portable and can be used for all types of static work."
Given these benefits, ProFlex kneeling pads have applications for utility workers, welders, machinists, mechanics, telecommunication workers, painters, and any worker who must be on his or her knees for extended periods of time. Constructed of soft, non-marring material, ProFlex kneeling pads also are also safe to use on delicate surfaces like unfinished hardwood floors, tiles, and intricate concrete, yet can stand up to harsh environments and work surfaces.
Ergodyne ProFlex kneeling pads will be available to the market in late summer. Items come packaged individually in a clear poly bag and, as with all Ergodyne orders, are delivered in 48 hours and are guaranteed against manufactured defects. The suggested market price for ProFlex kneeling pads ranges from just over $24 to less than $50.
