Gerbig Engineering Introduces Cleanroom Workstation

Gerbig Engineering introduces clean room work station as standard product offering. Previously product could only be obtained as a special order and custom designed workstation.

April 2, 2006 -- Gerbig Engineering Company (www.gerbig.com) announced the introduction of its AireCell Class 10,000 clean room workstation as a standard product offering. The unit was originally developed for a large medical device company to allow for better cleanliness for assembly work.

"Maintaining a class 100 cleanroom environment in a large environment is extremely expensive" said Fred Gerbig, CEO and founder of Gerbig Engineering. "Yet many high precision products of today require that kind of control. This product enables class 100 cleanroom assembly in isolated areas of your cleanroom"

Particle counts are near 100 particles per cubic foot, when used within a class 10,000 environment. When used in an office environment, the particle counts are typically less than 4,000 per cubic foot.

The new work station is double sided so that clean air is distributed in two directions, thereby improving valuable clean room space utilization. Workstations are designed to be positioned end-to-end with electrical and pneumatics running station-to-station. The unit comes in 4, 6, and 8 foot lengths and offers many optional features. More information about this product is available at www.gerbig.com or www.airecell.com.

Gerbig Engineering is a privately owned and operated company that design, builds and installs standard and custom clean rooms and clean room equipment.
