JLG Introducing Mast-Style Boom Lifts

McConnellsburg, PA - A series of self-propelled mast-style boom lifts are being introduced in North America by JLG Industries, Inc. These unique machines have a vertical telescoping mast with a jib boom that extends the platform away from the mast. Coupled with 360° pivoting capability, workers have unparalleled access to hard to reach overhead sites. With the mast lowered and jib retracted, the lifts become compact units that are easy to navigate through narrow aisles and in tight spaces. They can be driven at speeds up to 2.5 mph and have 20% gradeability.

The JLG® Model E26MJ on display is one of three machines in the series. It has a 26-ft. 2-in. platform height, a 7-ft. 2-in. jib boom, and outreach with 440-lbs. platform capacity.

In its stowed configuration, it is only 6-ft. 6-in. high by 3-ft. 3-in. wide by 6-ft. 3-in. long. It is electric powered and has non-marking, lugged tires for both inside and outside operation on improved surfaces. Other models in the series include the E18MJ and the E33MS.

JLG Industries, Inc. is the world's leading producer of access equipment (aerial work platforms and telehandlers). The Company's diverse product portfolio encompasses leading brands such as JLG® aerial work platforms; JLG, SkyTrak®, Lull® and Gradall telehandlers; and an array of complementary accessories that increase the versatility and efficiency of these products for end users.
