Ceramic-Silicone Sealant suits applications to 1,100°F.


April 19, 2006 - Used on porous ceramic materials and to seal high-temp motor windings, single part Aremco-Seal(TM) 4030 is water-dispersed and non-flammable. VOC-free product dries at room temperature within 1 hr and cures fully in 30-60 min @ 450°F. Solids content is 40%, and theoretical coverage rate at 1 mil is 535 ft²/gal. Formulated with viscosity of 600-1,200 cps, environmentally safe sealant may be applied by brush, roller, or spray equipment.

SUMMARY

Aremco-Seal(TM) 4030, a new high temperature ceramic-silicone sealant developed by Aremco Products, Inc., is now used to seal high temperature motor windings and a wide range of porous ceramic materials for applications to 1100 °F (593 °C).

FEATURES

Aremco-Seal(TM) 4030 is a single part, water-dispersed, ceramic-silicone sealant that provides exceptional moisture resistance and dielectric properties to 1100 °F (593 °C). It was developed for use on ceramic fiberboards and other ceramic-based materials used in heaters, ovens and furnaces for the automotive, electronics and plastics industries, and is now used for sealing high temperature motor windings.

Aremco-Seal(TM) 4030 is formulated with a viscosity of 600-1,200 cps, and is applied easily by brush, roller or spray equipment. It dries at room temperature in less than one hour and cures fully in 30-60 minutes at 450 °F. The solids content is 40% and theoretical coverage rate at 1 mil is 535 ft² per gallon.

Aremco-Seal(TM) 4030 is a non-flammable, environmentally safe sealant containing no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
