March 6, 2006 - Tri-Mix Turbo-Shear provides counter-rotating, scrape-surface agitator that can be designed to handle products up to 2,000,000 cps. Turbo-Shear head accepts several dispenser designs for 10,000 cps products alone and up to 50,000 cps products with aid of counter-rotating agitator.

Counterrotating Sweep Agitator With Integral High-Shear Assembly

Lee Industries, Inc. offers custom-fabricated lab scale and pilot plant equipment using the Tri-Mix Turbo-Shear. The Tri-Mix Turbo-Shear agitation combines scrape-surface with high-shear. The counterrotating, scrape-surface agitator can be designed for up to 2,000,000 CPS products, while the Turbo-Shear head has been modified to accept several dispenser designs for 10,000 CPS products alone and up to 50,000 CPS products with the aid of the counterrotating agitator. This agitator, combined with the
vessel's vacuum/pressure rating, gives the unit unsurpassed versatility. Lee Industries' applications engineers can design a lab unit for specific process requirements.
