Landa Introduces Aqueous Parts Washer with Unique Spray Design

Landa, North America's largest manufacturer of industrial pressure washers and parts washers, has introduced a front-load aqueous parts washer with a unique oscillating spray column for more effective cleaning capability.

The PSW (Power Scan Wash) automatic hot water parts washer features a vertical spray column that oscillates back and forth increasing the cleaning action and wash-water dwell time. Parts are placed on a metal turntable that rotates within the enclosed cabinet.

In other aqueous parts washers, the spray column is stationary while the turntable rotates. In the PSW, the turntable rotates while the vertical column fans back and forth simultaneously, oscillating a full 11 times for each turntable rotation for added cleaning effectiveness.

The PSW also features an infinitely adjustable fold-down intermediate spray bar that can be positioned within inches of the part. Because the intermediate spray bar is attached to the vertical column, it also oscillates producing extra cleaning action from overhead.

Another unique feature is the shallow profile of the PSW. With the vertical, seal-less pump and automatic oil-skimmer mounted on the side, the PSW can be pushed up against a wall and therefore does not need to be pushed away from the wall for servicing.

The PSW is operated using an easy-access control panel that includes an automatic one-hour wash timer for unattended operation, a 7-day timer for pre-heating the water or automatically shutting down the unit for energy savings and a low-water alert and shutoff for protection of the heating element.

Other standard features include:
o Rugged 12-gauge steel cabinet protected by a rust-resistant paint;
o Automatic oil skimmer, with stainless steel disc, for easy and safe removal of suspended oils floating in the wash water;
o High-efficiency, 6 kW calrod heating element protected by an incoloy sheath for long life and reliable heating of the water up to 175-degrees F;
o 12 zip-tip spray nozzles with a unique quick-disconnect for ease in cleaning;
o Adjustable thermostat for producing consistently hot water;
o Easy-to-access debris screen to prevent small and foreign objects from falling into the sump;
o Front access drain cap for ease in emptying and flushing the sump.

As with all Landa automatic aqueous parts washes, the warranty on the PSW is extended to one-year when Landa's detergents for parts washers are used exclusively.

Landa, a leader in the cleaning equipment industry since 1969, has been manufacturing parts washers since 1994. For more information, contact Crismon Lewis, 800-547-8672 Ext. 175.
