March 24, 2006 - Supporting full, medium, or base configuration camera link cameras, PIXCI E1 can sustain data transfer rates at up to 204 MB/sec. Board offers dedicated support for 75+ camera link cameras, including area scan, line scan, monochrome, color, high resolution, and fast frame rate types. It comes with XCAP-Lite imaging program, with XCAP-Ltd and XCAP-Std available as options. XCLIB and PXIPL developer libraries facilitate custom software development.

Buffalo Grove, Illinois -- EPIX, Inc., introduces the PIXCI E1 frame grabber for the PCI Express bus. The PIXCI E1 frame grabber can sustain data transfer rates at up to 204 MB/second, supporting almost all full, medium, or base configuration camera link cameras. Area scan or line scan, monochrome or color, high resolution, or fast frame rate, the PIXCI E1 board offers dedicated support for more than 75 camera link cameras from 12 major camera manufacturers.

The PIXCI E1 board is priced at $995.00 with the XCAP-Lite imaging program. XCAP-Ltd and XCAP-Std, optionally available, provide advanced capabilities. XCLIB and PXIPL developer libraries ease custom software development. Twain and Image-Pro drivers are available. EPIX software is compatible with DOS, Windows, and Linux.
