IBM Rear Door Heat Exchanger for 7014-T42 Enables You to More Densely Populate Individual Racks

At a glance
Heat exchanger door for the IBM 7014-T42 rack.
More computer capacity without the cost of additional HVAC infrastructure.
Ideal solution for computer room "hot spots"
Connection to customer-supplied water within IBM specifications.

Overview
You can now increase server density without increasing cooling requirements in your computer room.

Designed to fit easily on to the IBM 7014-T42 Rack, the Rear Door Heat Exchanger (#6858) helps clients whose data centers have reached the limits of cooling capacity but still have space to add racks of systems. Improved cooling from the heat exchanger enables you to populate individual racks more densely, freeing valuable floor space without the need to purchase additional air conditioning units.

The heat exchanger is a more cost-effective solution than purchasing and installing additional air conditioning units.

Features:
Water-cooled heat exchanger door designed to dissipate heat generated from the back of your computer systems before it enters the room
Easy-to-mount rear door design that attaches to customer-supplied water, using industry-standard fittings and couplings
Up to 15 kW (approximately 50,000 Btu/hr) of heat removed from air exiting the back of a fully populated rack
