New European-Design Exit/Emergency Light... Same Highlites Reliability

New Product: EURO Series LED Edge Lite - contemporary, ultra-slim multifunction exit and emergency lighting unit.

Design: Highlites, Inc. In-House Product Design and Engineering Team

Manufacturer: Highlites, Inc., a division of JJI Lighting Group, Inc.

Product Applications: EURO Series LED Edge Lite units combine reliable, long life combination exit and emergency illumination, in a contemporary, European-design housing.

The EURO Series clearly marks building exits under normal power or interrupts. When interrupted, dual adjustable low-voltage halogen spotlights come on to guide the way through dark corridors, building lobbies and interior spaces of all kinds.

EURO Series LED Edge Lites are job-rated for all North American commercial, institutional and industrial environments, including colleges and universities, shopping malls, healthcare facilities, hospitality venues, seniors' residences and public and private office buildings.

Product Description: EURO Series LED Edge Lite exit and emergency lighting units employ long-life, energy-efficient, high-intensity LED lamps that provide a reliable, easy-to-read exit sign with red or green letters.

Miniaturized multi-direction Microtronic halogen lamp heads on either side of the exit sign provide crisp white illumination in the event of a power outage. An overall slender design aesthetic remains unobtrusive in any space where it is used.

EURO Series LED Edge Lite exit and emergency lighting units are available in standard AC with battery backup. Dual face wall or ceiling mount available. A solid-state switch automatically connects the sealed, lead calcium battery to the utility load. In the event of a power failure, continuous operation is assured. A solid-state, temperature-compensating, variable float charger automatically recharges the battery once normal power resumes. An optional self-diagnostic circuit automatically performs monthly or on-demand function checks, to confirm battery charging or detect any system malfunctions.

Construction & Finishes: EURO Series LED Edge Lite exit and emergency lighting units can be specified with a choice of clear, white, mirrored or brass backgrounds, with a choice of red or green lettering. Single or dual illuminated chevrons can also be specified. The Microtronic halogen light heads are cast aluminum. Optional intermittent audible and visual alarms, and fire alarm interface, are also available.

All EURO Series LED Edge Lite exit and emergency lighting units are UL listed. They meet NFPA Life Safety Code 101, NEC, OSHA, and all state and local codes.
