Suited for food and beverage industry, HDi Series features cast iron housings with ZMaRC® coating that eliminates flaking and chipping. ZMaRC-plated insert bearings are factory lubed-for-life with USDA-approved H1 grease. Two-part seal consists of double-lip AISI 304 stainless steel seal and flinger, allowing units to operate in heavy washdown environments without regreasing. Housing designs include pillow block, 2- or 4-bolt flange, and tapped base.

New MRC Marathon® 'HDi Series' Mounted Bearing Units Resist Corrosion and Eliminate Potential Flaking
New MRC Marathon® "HDi Series" mounted bearing units can serve ideally for applications in the red meat, pork and poultry processing, and beverage industries demanding exceptionally high housing strength and corrosion resistance. Their heavy-duty cast iron housings provide added durability.
Housings gain superior and long-term corrosion-resistance protection from MRC's exclusive ZMaRC® coating, which eliminates flaking and chipping problems routinely associated with nickel-plated and painted mounted units. Housings are matched with ZMaRC-plated quality insert bearings well-suited for harsh operating environments and factory lubed-for-life with USDA approved H1 grease.
Their unique two-part seal for maximum protection consists of a patented double-lip AISI 304 stainless steel seal and flinger allowing the unit to operate in heavy washdown environments without regreasing.
The "HDi series" is available in several housing designs, including pillow blocks, two- or four-bolt flange, and tapped base. Open spaces on bases or backs of housings are filled with polyurethane to enhance sanitary housing design.
