ADP Dealer Services Expands Its Group of Dealer Information Solutions with the Introduction of a New Decision Support Suite of Applications
- Includes robust online data analysis tools, graphical reporting, forecasting and the latest data visualization technology to change how dealerships manage business today -
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Feb. 11 - The Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing Inc. (NYSE:ADP) today announced the introduction of its new Decision Support Suite of Applications. Decision Support is one of many continuing enhancements to ADP's Dealer Information Solutions, a group of products and services that deliver the most comprehensive offering in the automotive retail market for utilizing, managing, and protecting dealer's information -- all designed to help clients sell more cars, parts, and service profitably.
ADP's Decision Support is a full suite of online reporting, data analysis, and data visualization tools designed to help dealerships improve their business performance. Powering the new Decision Support Visualization module is FYI Visual(TM) advanced visualization technology from FYI(R) Corporation. ADP has an exclusive licensing agreement with FYI Corporation, a leading data visualization technology provider. FYI Visual advanced visualization technology manages large amounts of complex data from various sources and then represents the data visually, using colors and shapes that decision makers can easily identify, analyze and take action on.
"In order to make effective business decisions, our managers need accurate data that can be interpreted quickly. During our pilot we found that the FYI Visual product is robust and intuitive. It absorbs large amounts of data in a short period of time," said Jerry Daniels, executive vice president of Coggin Automotive Group. The Decision Support Suite is the result of ADP's Dealer Information Solution initiative that began in 2001. Each year brings enhancements designed to give dealers more secure, open, and integrated access to their data, such as dealer management security and auditing tools, data cleansing services, integrated document and data management solutions, and self-healing technologies.

ADP's new Decision Support is built on a secure, integral data foundation that combines the key security areas comprising the entire scope of dealership technology: data security, LAN security, WAN security, wireless security, server security, workstation security, document security, user security and Internet security. ADP's security tools can be used to audit system log-ons, determine how long the user is in the system, where the user went and what files were accessed.
ADP's DataFresh(R) data cleansing service and award-winning self-healing technologies recognize and proactively remedy data issues and conditions that threaten data integrity.
Security is an integral piece of every ADP system, and through its portfolio of integration services ADP provides secure integration for third-party software providers.
