They provide instant access to local and international news so that live broadcasts can be accessed from anywhere. Available in 5 versions, radios include AM, FM, SW, TV, VHF, and NOAA reception, helping users stay informed and prepared for emergencies. Each can be powered from built-in rechargeable battery, AA batteries, ac adapter, or dynamo hand crank.

Eton Unveils Latest Emergency Preparedness Radios

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 3 / -- With no batteries needed, an integrated crank power source, a built-in flashlight, cell-phone charger, and water-resistance (not available with all models) -- the newly enhanced Eton FR Series are more than just a radio. The FR-Series of radios are a necessity for every home, office, and for use when traveling. These essential emergency radios can provide instant access to local and international news so that live broadcasts can be accessed from around the world, directly from the source.

Available in five versions, the FR-Series of self-powered radios help users stay informed and prepared for emergencies. Features included in this series range from AM/FM/SW/TV/VHF and NOAA reception. Each radio can be powered from four sources: a built-in rechargeable battery, AA batteries, an AC adaptor, or the dynamo hand crank alone.

Additional features range from a cell-phone charger to built-in white and red flashing LED light sources. Among the radios to launch in 2006 are the FR350 and FR400, which offer water-resistance for added versatility.

The Eton FR-Series of Radios are available for shipping today and pricing starts at an MSRP of $40.
