SpacePak air distribution system is available with ElectriPak integral electric heat module, which delivers 10, 15, or 20 KW of electric heat depending on unit size. Module fits directly inside SpacePak's horizontal fan coil units and comes with internal, automatic heat output modulation feature. Constructed of corrosion-resistant steel, module adjusts output regardless of load condition and features solid state power controllers.

Westfield, Mass., January 31, 2006 - SpacePak, the originator and leading manufacturer of high velocity air conditioning systems, has introduced an innovative new product called ElectriPak, an electric heat module that can be added to the standard SpacePak air distribution system.
The ElectriPak system can be used in both new and existing SpacePak installations, and delivers 10, 15, or 20 KW electric heat depending on unit size. The ElectriPak unit fits directly inside SpacePak's horizontal fan coil units and comes equipped with an internal modulation feature that automatically regulates heat discharge temperatures. Furthermore, the energy-saving design adjusts output regardless of load condition and thereby eliminates the need for external regulating devices such as a multi-stage (W3) and/or outdoor thermostat.

"Providing a unique electric heat option is especially attractive to our market, particularly as a complementary source of heat for use before really cold weather sets in. The ElectriPak has been very well received by both the contracting community and homeowners alike."
In addition, the system does not require any ductwork configuring or assembly, can be used in conjunction with heat pumps, and is built with fail-safe circuitry to satisfy UL safety requirements.
Other features include solid state power controllers and modulating heat output. The modulating feature uses only the electricity needed to provide a constant discharge temperature which is more efficient than traditional electric duct heaters. The ElectriPak is ETL listed as a component of the SpacePak system and is constructed of heavy gauge corrosion-resistant steel.
