February 24, 2006 - Base level audio source unit, DB165, incorporates CD receiver with CDR/RW playback and Magi-Tune Tuner with 18FM/6AM presets. Along with sound enhancement features such as Z-Enhancer and Magna Bass EX, AM/FM/CD controller offers 180 W max power output (45 W x 4 channels), 2-channel RCA outputs, and detachable faceplate with LCD. Also available, DB265MP offers same power rating, display, and sound features in addition to MP3 playback capability.

Clarion's 2006 Audio Source Units Have an All-New Look and Feel with the Same Great Sound You Expect


GARDENA, Calif., Jan. 5 - Clarion Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems, introduces all-new base level audio source units. The source units feature sound enhancement features such as Z-Enhancer and Magna Bass EX.

Clarion's introductory model DB165 features 180 Watts of maximum power output, 2-channel RCA outputs and even has a detachable faceplate.

Clarion's DB265MP offers the same power rating, display and sound enhancement features as the DB165 but with the addition of MP3 playback capability. "Our new source units have a refreshingly sleek all-new appearance," states Ralph Dominquez, Clarion's Senior Product Planning Manager.

Clarion's 2006 all-new source units will be available in early 2006.
