Motorized Work Holder Smooth, Slow And Fully Adjustable

A motorized work piece holder that features smooth, slow rotation for positioning and rotating small parts in micro-welding and similar appli-cations has been introduced by NovaTech, Inc. of Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Novatech's Micro-Star Rotary Positioner is a compact, motorized bench top work holder that has a 3" dia., 3-jaw chuck, with a 6" dia. faceplate for mounting small parts. Featuring smooth, slow rotation ranging from one revolution every eight minutes to a maximum of 12 RPM, this work holder tilts from the horizontal to the vertical in 15 degree increments.

Equipped with an infinitely variable speed footswitch control, Novatech's Micro-Star Rotary Positioner can hold round and flat parts and includes a gas fitting for through-the-spindle gas purging. Suitable for precision micro-welding, laser positioning, and similar applications, it has a holding capacity of 25 lbs. horizontal and 50 lbs. vertical.
