Hand-held Wickgun(TM) lets users dispense, position, and cut-off braid using one hand while holding solder iron in other hand. Featuring braid with no clean flux, dispenser eliminates handling of braid and minimizes waste. Available in 4 braid sizes from 0.035-0.110 in. wide, cassettes are preloaded with 15 ft of braid. Dispenser allows braid to be advanced and retracted using thumbwheel and then cut-off by squeezing trigger.

Desoldering Braid Compatible With RoHS Requirements
A desoldering braid which is effective for lead-free solder and comes in replaceable cassettes that fit into a gun-style dispenser for easy one-hand operation is available from Xuron Corporation of Saco, Maine.
The Xuron Wickgun(TM) Desoldering Braid Dispenser is a hand-held tool that lets users dispense, position, and cut-off braid using one hand; while holding a soldering iron in the other. Featuring a braid with no clean flux which is effective for use with the lead-free solder required by RoHS, this Wickgun eliminates handling braid, reduces waste, and speeds desoldering.
Available in four braid sizes from 0.035" to 0.110" W, the cassettes are preloaded with 15 ft. of braid and are easy to change. The Xuron Wickgun(TM) Desoldering Braid Dispenser allows the braid to be advanced and retracted using a thumbwheel and then cut-off by squeezing the trigger.
