SecureVue Inc. Debuts Guaranteed Invulnerable Camera Housing; Double Patented Bracket Secures Aim; Feature Keeps Image Upright

SecureCam®, a new ultra-heavy duty CCTV camera housing, designed to protect cameras at terrorist targets and high-crime exposed locations was announced by SecureVue Inc., a manufacturer of stainless steel security hardware, and a longtime specified supplier to the N.Y.C. Transit Authority.

The enclosure comes with an unprecedented guarantee: "SecureCam has tested out as so impregnable, it has merited an amazing guarantee: not only is the housing itself guaranteed forever against breakage, deformation and corrosion, but also the customer's camera inside is guaranteed against damage, or theft from the housing," according to SecureVue's president Donald G. Softness,

A video camera's orientation or "aim" is vital - deflection as little as two degrees off its surveillance target negates its effectiveness. The SecureVue camera housing safeguards its preset bearing with a unique tamper-resistant bracket mount that aligns precisely on horizontal and vertical axes. It locks into place by a proprietary hex wrench so that its positioning cannot be altered by manual force, yet easily unlocked and reset. These anti-tilt features are protected by two U.S. patents as the only totally vandal and theft-proof housing in the world. It is UL listed, which tests for strict adherence to representations and claims.

SecureCam® defies weather extremes: hurricane-force winds, torrential rain - has highest IP-68 rating for water and dust exclusion- (one test was complete submersion in three feet of water for one hour), and corrosive environments.

The camera enclosure compartment is cylindrical and rotatable - also a patented feature - so the image can be maintained in an upright position when the housing is mounted upside-down on a ceiling or vertically on a wall or post. The entire housing is constructed of heavy-gauge type 304 stainless steel and the window is 3/4" gauge ballistic three-ply polycarbonate, which stops 9 mm or 38 caliber bullets.

SecureVue's executive offices are located at 251 East 51st Street, New York, NY 10022, ph: 212-752-5960; fax: 212-888-7387. Its website is www.securevue.net.
