UV Flood Lamp reveals flaws on metal surfaces.

November 30, 2005 - Equipped with high-intensity UV-A (365 nm) light, Spectroline® UV-400 SuperFlood(TM) exposes trace amounts of oils, greases, and hydrocarbons. Its 400 W metal halide bulb provides steady-state UV-A intensity of 6,500 µW/cm², measured at 15 in. from center of lamp. Providing uniform irradiation of areas up to 24 x 10 in., 36 lb lamp employs twin-filter system that eliminates hazardous UV-B (280-320 nm) radiation.

Super-Powerful UV Lamp Reveals All Flaws on Metal Surfaces

Westbury, New York - The Spectroline® UV-400 SuperFlood(TM) ultraviolet lamp is the world's most powerful flood lamp for fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspections, parts degreasing inspections and wash station inspections. Trace amounts of oils, greases and hydrocarbons fluoresce brightly and become clearly visible when exposed to the lamp's high-intensity UV-A (365nm) light, making it easy to spot even the smallest flaws.

The UV-400 SuperFlood lamp delivers unmatched power. Its 400-watt metal halide bulb provides a steady-state UV-A intensity of 6,500 µW/cm² measured at 15" (38 cm) from the center of the lamp. It irradiates an area as large as 24 x 10" (61 x 26 cm) with unequaled uniformity.

The UV-400 SuperFlood is the safest UV flood lamp on the market, This is because its unique twin-filter system eliminates hazardous UV-B (280-320nm) radiation. The lamp weighs only 36 lbs (16 kg), so it's easy to transport.
