New Hyde Park, New York - A new line of low cost hex hole sleeves introduced by Stock Drive Products can be used as sliding couplings, extensions for socket drives, bearing carriers and as sliding bearings. They serve as an economical replacement in applications requiring spliced shafts and bushings, where precision tolerances are not required.
The carbon steel hex hole sleeves, identified as the A 7C20 series, are stocked in 8 different lengths from 3/4" to 3 1/4". The broached hex holes maintain a tolerance of ±.001" and range in width across flats from .128" to .628". List prices range between $8.35 and $12.90 for prototype quantities. A complete line of hex stock is also available to accommodate these sleeves.
