Colder Products Company DrumQuik® Chemical Dip-Tube Systems

With Colder Products Company's DrumQuik® series of chemical extraction dip-tubes, packagers can offer end-users a container system that allows for easy, safe removal of aggressive chemical media from IBCs, drums and other rigid units. Utilizing a dip-tube integrated with a quick disconnect coupling system, DrumQuik products ensure the reliable connection of liquid lines and spill/fume-free extraction of chemicals. This completely closed system provides an ideal container management alternative.

In contrast, many traditional chemical dispensing systems use methods that emit toxic vapors outside the closed environment of a drum. These types of systems increase the risk of chemical exposure and pose a threat to worker safety. In fact, increasing numbers of safety initiatives are requiring that chemicals be transported from container to point-of-use in a closed manner.

Conversion from an open system to a closed DrumQuik system is easily accomplished. Colder's broad range of chemical management systems are compatible with virtually all types of rigid containers, meeting the needs of both end-users and chemical packagers.

Benefits:
o Vent check seals, multiple port options and automatic shut-off valves contain fumes and protect against tip-over spills.
o Natural, virgin PTFE, polypropylene and polyethylene material options assure excellent chemical compatibility and purity.
o Mechanical keying and IdentiQuik(TM) RFID options prevent misconnections and track chemical inventory.
o Foot valves and Back flow check valves prevent product back flow that results in a loss of pump prime during shutdown

Features:
o DrumQuik Modular System (includes Drum insert and dip-tube)- Comes in multiple port versions for venting, recirculation and blanket gas connection. Modular design allows flexibility in material selection and coupling design.
o DrumQuik Universal Drum Adaptor - Any Colder coupling insert with a ¾ male NPT termination can be converted to a dip-tube system that allows easy connection to virtually all jerry cans, drums and IBCs. The adaptor includes a bushing, dip-tube, and coupling.
o DrumQuik 2-Port UDA-Similar to the DrumQuik Universal Drum Adaptor, the 2 Port UDA is compatible with any common drum bung plug or cap with a ¾ Female NPT port as well as Carboy or Nalgene type bottle caps. It includes a 2-port adaptor, dip-tube, and couplings.
o BottleQuik 2-Port UBA- Based on the 2-Port UDA system, it is designed for reagent style bottles using SP400 38 mm caps. It includes a 2-port adaptor, dip-tube, and couplings.
