November 15, 2005 - Clamp-style, Automotive Battery Terminals mate with positive and negative battery posts and accept wire sizes from 25,910-115,150 CMA per SAE standards. Open barrel F-crimp ear section provides secure connection. Supplied in strip form or as loose pieces, lead-free terminals can be manufactured from brass, steel, and exotic alloys. They are provided with variety of plating options including bright and matte finishes, and are labeled with + or - symbols.

Battery Terminals Comply With RoHS Lead-Free Directive


New lead-free, clamp-style automotive battery terminals that meet SAE standards and the RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances) Lead-Free Directive are being introduced by ETCO INCORPORATED of Warwick, RI.

ETCO Lead-Free Battery Terminals mate with both positive and negative battery posts and accept wire sizes ranging from 25,910 to 115,150 (CMA) per SAE standards. Featuring the proven reliability of an open barrel F-crimp ear section which provides a secure connection and permits faster automated processing, they have a deep drawn design for an optimum contact area.

Supplied in strip form or as loose pieces, ETCO Lead-Free Battery Terminals can be manufactured from brass, steel, and exotic alloys and provided with a variety of plating options including bright and matte finishes. These terminals are labeled with + or - symbols and are suitable for a wide range of fully automated and hand-held application equipment.

ETCO Lead-Free Battery Terminals are priced according to material, finish, and whether supplied as strip or in loose form. Literature, samples, and quotations are available upon request.
