Cold Storage Industry's Most Energy Efficient Folding Door Introduced by Rite-Hite Doors

Rite-Hite Doors' newest industrial/cold storage door delivers optimal energy efficient defrost and proprietary sealing with impactability, high speed, and a minimal space footprint.

MILWAUKEE-Rite-Hite Doors, a leading manufacturer of industrial and cold storage doors, introduces the Barrier® Fold---the bi-folding cooler/freezer door that combines the cold storage industry's most energy efficient sealing system with impactability, high speed and a small footprint.

The Barrier Fold uses the patent-pending Thermal Air(TM) Sealing System first developed for Rite-Hite Doors' BARRIER® Glider impactable high speed cooler/freezer cold storage door. The proprietary Thermal Air Seal system not only creates a tight, conforming seal at the top of the door frame, but also broadcasts continuous warm air evenly across the door and surrounding floor surfaces to prevent frost and reduce maintenance/operating costs. The seal and the efficient high velocity blower defrost system combine to make the Barrier Fold more energy efficient than PVC fast door, roll-up door, slow/rigid door and strip curtain technologies by 42, 84, 112 and 135 percent, respectively.

The space-saving Barrier Fold comes in an internal or external freezer door mount configuration as well as a refrigerated cooler door. It accommodates openings ranging from 6 X 8-feet to 10 X 16-feet, and has one of the industry's smallest footprints with a minimal two-foot side clearance and projection off the wall.

The Barrier Fold also offers:
o increased productivity and reduced heat gain in the freezer/cooler with an 84-inch/second high speed door operation;
o reduced maintenance costs and downtime with the same impactable tubular track/trolley system as the proven BARRIER Glider.
o superior sealing side frames that also reduce conductivity with high R-value insulation.
o Reflek-Tek center panels that seal tightly together with Rite-Tite(TM) magnets.

Rite-Hite Doors, is a Milwaukee, Wis.-based manufacturer of interior and exterior industrial high performance doors and cold storage doors designed for increased safety, productivity, and reduced operating costs.
