Core Drilling Jobs Demand Multiquip's New Tools

Weekend do-it-yourselfers, professional contractors, and those of all skills levels in between, can quickly and accurately drill concrete, brick, masonry block and more with Multiquip's new package of core drilling products.

The CDM-1H hand-held core drill is designed for multiple smaller applications. This single-speed model excels in wet drilling applications up to 3 inches (7½ centimeters) in diameter or it can be used with Multiquip's Cobra dry drilling bits up to 5 inches (12½ cm.) in diameter. The Cobra is made specifically for drilling reinforced concrete dry. The CDM-1H is perfect for electrical and plumbing jobs where operators need to drill through walls and floors.

The 11-amp, 115-volt hand-held core drill operates at 0-1,800 rpm. This drill weighs only 9 pounds (4 kilograms). It comes with a convenient, adjustable shoulder rest, a three-position hand grip and internal water feed. A carry case and tools are also included.

Multiquip's CDM-2CSA is a compact drill rig for applications requiring accurate straight or angled holes. It can be mounted by a bolt or vacuum base. The rig's adjustable angle column simplifies angle drilling. This dual-speed 15-amp unit has a 9-inch (23 cm.) capacity. With motor, the drill rig weighs 62 pounds (28 kg.).

Two full-size drill stands are designed for larger jobs where accuracy and versatility are required, such as drilling concrete for post and flag pole installation. Multiquip's CDM-3CS Straight Mast and CDM-3CSA Angle Base models have bit capacities of 10 inches (25 cm.) and with an optional spacer block, 12 inches (30½ cm.). Both can be used as bolt or vacuum base with an optional vacuum pump.

The columns on both drill stands reach heights of 42 inches (107 cm.). The stands weigh 70 and 75 pounds (31½, 33¾ kg.), respectively, and can be driven with either Milwaukee's 4096 or 4094 motors, or a DM-15A9C power source.

Options with these drill rig stands include a vacuum pump, switch box assembly and spacer block.
