Lighted 'Smart' Nameplates Improve Utility Switching

WEYMOUTH, MA - Electroswitch announces the availability of Lighted "Smart" Nameplates for their complete line of Series 24 switches and relays.

These nameplates incorporate up to three light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and output contacts into a standard three-hole footprint. They provide the means to easily monitor and display the status of multiple events and to trigger annunciation or device activation, with or without mechanical targets.

Because "Smart" Nameplates are prewired and use LEDs, they reduce installation costs, use less energy, generate less heat, and require less panel space than independently mounted incandescent bulbs. Lighted "Smart" Nameplates are available in many configurations, and title letters and switch positions can be engraved at the factory.

The front-replaceable indicator LEDs are designed for long life (>100,000 hours) and are highly visible over a wide viewing angle from the front of the device. Five bright colors are available to separately identify multiple functions. The output contacts are solid state "dry contacts" that can be wired for remote annunciation if desired. When adapted for breaker control, for example, a "Smart" Nameplate can be mounted on either a standard manual control switch or a remotely operable, SCADA-compatible control switch relay.

"Smart" Nameplates can be ordered integral to the Series 24 Switch or for retrofit.
Prices start at $100.00 with delivery starting @ 2 weeks ARO.

Electroswitch is the industry leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of tough, reliable switches, relays, and other electrical systems products for utility, industrial, and military environments. The Electroswitch line of standard products is complemented by the company's proven ability and willingness to modify, custom design, and test their switches and relays for virtually any application. The company takes pride in meeting customer delivery requirements, no matter how stringent.
