From race cars to the Space Shuttle, Saint-Gobain has long been a supplier of PTFE seals as an integral component on (and above) the earth. And now - a breakthrough of application technology has brought the power of PTFE to an everyday gasket OmniGasket XT - the one and only brand of Bonded PTFE Gaskets - from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is constructed with a layer of PTFE adhered to an alloy base. This extraordinary gasket will deliver a longer lasting seal even in temperature extremes with various torque loads; provide universal chemical compatibility with self lubricating PTFE and remove metal to metal contact to eliminate marring and galling of surfaces. The revolutionary new Omnigasket XT is available up to 65mm outer diameter in a variety of thicknesses, a temperature range from -100°C to +200°C, and will withstand high pressure and shear strength. The OmniGasket XT is ideal for freeze plugs, gear boxes and oil seals, engine oil pan seals, transmission box pan seals and noise reduction discs, along with many other industrial and automotive applications.
