October 26, 2005 - In addition to variable lift/lower control, ergonomic control handle, and auto locking pallet clamp, 5000 Series employs ACR System(TM) that minimizes battery changes and facilitates product movement. Model 5600 has ac drive and lift system and is available in 36 V configurations with elevated truck heights up to 366 in., while Model 5400 has ac drive, dc lift, and 366 in. elevated truck height. Model 5200 offers dc drive and lift systems and 241 in. elevated height.

Raymond's New 5000 Series Orderpickers Boost Productivity, Reduce Costs


GREENE, N.Y. - The Raymond Corporation introduces the new 5000 Series orderpickers featuring Raymond's exclusive ACR System(TM). The 5000 Series is a whole new lineup of orderpickers designed to boost productivity, enhance operator comfort and confidence, and deliver all this performance at the lowest cost of ownership.

"Raymond's exclusive ACR System, which delivers more uptime, fewer battery changes, lower maintenance costs, and moves more product faster, is offered on most of the new 5000 Series orderpickers," says Susan Comfort, marketing director for orderpickers and Swing-Reach® trucks. "Operators will get faster, smoother operation, increased travel and lift speeds, and easier load handling."

Variable lift/lower, an ergonomic control handle, an auto locking pallet clamp and a comfortable platform are standard features of the Raymond® 5000 Series orderpickers. In addition, all Raymond orderpickers come with a three-year, 3,000-hour extended warranty on most electrical components and the drive motor.

The Model 5600 orderpicker has an AC drive and lift system for high performance applications. It is available in 36-volt configurations, with elevated truck heights up to 366 in.

The Model 5400 has a high performance option with AC drive and DC lift. The rugged orderpicker provides dependable, reliable performance in applications up to 366-in. elevated truck height. The Model 5200 offers DC drive and lift systems with variable lift/lower controls, a 24-volt battery and elevated height of 241 in.
