DE-STA-CO's Heavy-Duty Toggle-Lock Pneumatic Clamp Design Ensures Maximum Safety In Welding Applications

Madison Heights, Michigan, September 27, 2005- DE-STA-CO's line of Heavy-Duty Toggle-Lock pneumatic clamps excel at quick clamping in repetitive production operations and are ideal for short run jobs with temporary fixturing. The versatile clamps are available in a variety of styles for a wide range of applications.

This year's ATExpo will feature the company's line of Heavy-Duty Toggle-Lock pneumatic clamps in booth #311.

DE-STA-CO's Heavy-Duty Toggle-Lock pneumatic clamp series (models 863, 864, 893 and 894) is well suited for use in hostile welding and machining environments due to its sophisticated features. The clamp's over-center toggle-lock design provides maximum reliability and clamping forces. Additionally, the clamp arm is offset, allowing for it to be mounted on the left, right or both sides of the clamp.
Other outstanding lean benefits include:
o Mounting surfaces for blade mounting on either side of the clamp for application flexibility;
o Indexable clamp arms that can be repositioned in 45-degree increments;
o Completely enclosed linkage that protects from contaminants, increasing reliability and reducing maintenance costs and downtime;
o Weldable/machinable clamp arm to suit any application; and
o Magnetic ring sensing options.

The clamp series' maximum exerting force reaches 1600 lbs. and opens to a maximum of 130-degrees to provide proper clearance for the materials needing to be clamped.
