Tack Boards protect parts during shipping.

October 18, 2005 - Manufactured to specifications of shape and size, PRES-PAK pressure-sensitive adhesive boards provide peel-and-stick solution for shipping tiny electronic components, springs, glass pieces, wireforms, and irregular-shaped plastic parts. Boards are available with single- or double-coated adhesive on corrugated, chipboard, and light tag materials. They eliminate need for separate containers, because all parts of final product can be put onto one board, regardless of shape or size.

PRES-PAK Tack Boards Protect Virtually Any Shipped Part, Save Money & Reduce Assembly Line Sorting Time

ADDISON, IL, October 12, 2005 - Tiny electronic components. Springs. Glass pieces. Irregular-shaped plastic parts. Wireforms. Industry needs them. But how can they be shipped, stored and handled without damage?

The answer is PRES-PAK tack boards, a new "peel n' stick" solution from Pres-On, Inc.

PRES-PAK tack boards are pressure-sensitive adhesive boards that can be manufactured to exact customer specifications including shape, sizes, die-cuts, and single- or double-coated adhesive on corrugated, chipboard and light tag materials.

Shippers simply peel off the release liner, stick the parts on, and they'll stay firmly in place during transit or storage until ready for use. Parts are then easily removed without residue. Moreover, parts can be pre-arranged on the board by suppliers to conform to their customers' assembly line timing to save hours of sorting and distribution time.

Importantly, PRES-PAK tack boards eliminate the need for separate containers because all the parts of a final product can be put onto a single board, regardless of shape or size. In addition, PRES-PAK tack boards saves customers the excessive cost of using special shipping containers since all the parts or products placed on a board can fit into standard sized containers.

PRES-PAK tack boards are easily and safely stacked one on top of the other, whether in a shipping container or on storage shelves.
