New Joining/Pressing Technology as Total System - Makes Costly Rejections Impossible
The new NCF-Press-System by Stamotech LLC allows for the first time continuous quality assurance of precision pressing applications. The electrically driven servo spindle is available in the sizes 10, 25, 35, 50, 80, 100, 120 KN with two different nominal strokes of 130 and 180 mm, and fully integrated sensor technology for force and displacement. (Additional sizes on request). The press unit is characterized by its extremely high repeatability and excellent dynamic performance.
The user programmable end positions reproduce at ±1/100 mm. The control of the NCF-unit and evaluation of the join are performed by the DMFP-V3-NCF or A400 monitoring systems. A400 is a multi channel system for multi spindle pressing applications.
With this system all parameters for control of the power unit as well as programming, visualization, evaluation and selection of the inserted part can be carried out. The electro mechanical spindle drive replaces conventional hydraulic methods. Now pressed parts can be assembled using a variation in speed with perfect force and displacement control. NCF offers lower maintenance cost and its power consumption is far less than conventional methods, while offering a quiet operation. It can be applied even under clean room conditions. 100% removal of fluctuating and inexact displacement and press positions is guaranteed. The total system consisting of an NC-controlled press spindle with integrated force sensor and SSI-displacement-absolute encoder, servo amplifier, cable set, control and force-displacement measuring system for press monitoring allows compact, process-sure arrangement of press- and joining operations and distinct documentation.
Costly press application rejections are now impossible!
