Software synchronizes PC clock with atomic time servers.
October 5, 2005 -
To ensure accuracy within milliseconds, Advanced Time Synchronizer v2.90 queries all servers in list, one by one, until PC clock is successfully synchronized with atomic time servers or list is completed. PC clock synchronization suite works through HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, and SOCKS5 proxy servers and can be run as NT service or executed from command line or batch file. Software even synchronizes network workstations that do not have Internet connection.

SouthSoftware Releases Advanced Time Synchronizer 2.90
New time PC clock synchronization suite works with all common types of proxy servers.
Advanced Time Synchronizer is a small software application that synchronizes PC clock with atomic time severs to make sure it's never off by more than a few milliseconds. While this type of software is rather ubiquitous on the Internet, Advanced Time Synchronizer has several advantages over its peers.
First, Advanced Time Synchronizer doesn't just synchronizes the time with the first atomic time server it connects too. Instead, the program queries all the servers in the list one by one until either the time is successfully synchronized or the list is over.
Second, Advanced Time Synchronizer can work through a variety of proxy servers - HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A or SOCKS5. This is increasingly important because most companies now choose to connect to the Internet via a proxy server rather than directly for security reasons. Unfortunately, a lot of good time synchronization software programs fail to work properly through proxy servers, but Advanced Time Synchronizer is "proxy server smart".
Finally, this program is rfc2030, rfc868 and rfc867 compliant and works with all common time synchronization protocols - Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP), Time Protocol and Daytime Protocol.
In addition to that, Advanced Time Synchronizer can run as a NT service, be executed from the command line or batch file. Because the program also works as a time server, it can synchronize network workstations that don't have Internet connection.
Advanced Time Synchronizer is available at http://www.advtimesync.com/ for free evaluation. The cost of registering the program is 19.95 US Dollars.
