Able to be used with any manufacturer's amplifier and controller, MDM 5000 High Energy Brushless Motor is available with multiple voltage capabilities and includes NEMA, IEC motor mounting, or custom mechanical interfaces. CE/UL-compliant product produces up to 124 lb-in. continuous stall torque in NEMA 42 package, which is offered in 58, 85, and 110 mm sizes. Winding density is comprised of segmented lamination technology and neodymium magnet array.

Torque Systems Announces New High Energy Brushless Motor
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - CLEVELAND, OH, Torque Systems, a division of Cleveland Motion Controls, Inc. announced today the release of its new high energy brushless motor; the MDM 5000. The new state-of-the-art motor offers the highest available torque density available in a platform that is easily customized to fit any application. Versatile and economical, the MDM 5000 can be used with virtually all manufacturers' amplifiers and controllers; offers multiple voltage capabilities; includes NEMA, IEC motor mounting or custom mechanical interfaces; and is CE/UL Compliant.

The winding density is comprised of a proprietary segmented lamination technology and a neodymium magnet array for maximum power output; up to 14 Nm (124 lb-in) continuous stall torque in a compact 110 mm (NEMA 42) package. Three initial sizes are available: 58 mm, 85 mm and 110mm, with additional sizes slated for release in early 2006. The MDM 5000's high power and compact design is suitable for Semiconductor, Medical Imaging, CMM, Robotics and a multitude of other applications.
