Step Motors exceed IP65 standard.

September 30, 2005 - Based on NEMA 34 frame, Step Motors develop continuous stall torques from 460-2,550 oz-in. and peak output levels to 580 W. Input drive voltages range from 12-48 Vdc. Two round industrial connectors, rated to IP65, are used for encoder and motor signals. All motors are equipped with 16,000 count/rev encoder. Closed loop, servo control is provided by SilverNugget controller/driver.

Servo Control of NEMA 34 IP65 Stepmotors

Quicksilver Controls, Inc., know for its ability to servo microstep motors, now offers NEMA 34 IP65 stepmotors with encoders for wash down applications. Based on Quicksilver's existing NEMA 34 frame stepmotors, this new line exceeds the IP65 standard.

The NEMA 34 family will develop continuous stall torques ranging from 460 ounce-inches (model 34N-1) to 2550 ounce-inches (model 34HC-4). Peak output power levels reach 580 watts with the 34HC-3 model. Input drive voltage ranges from 12VDC to 48VDC.

Two IP65 industrial, round connectors are used for encoder and motor signals. All motors come standard with a 16000 count/rev encoder. A shaft seal is included to extend the IP65 rating to the shaft.

Closed loop, servo control of these new NEMA 34 IP65 stepmotors is provided by the SilverNugget controller/driver.

For more details, see the datasheets on Quicksilver's website.
