Overview
The ThinkPadŽ Advanced Ultrabay(TM) Battery is a rechargeable battery for the ThinkPad Z60t/Z60m Series notebooks. This new battery fits in the Ultrabay device bay. Together with the system batteries, it can extend user mobility and unplugged computing time.

To achieve all-day computing, use the ThinkPad Z60t Series 7 Cell Li-Ion Battery or the ThinkPad Z60m Series 9 Cell Li-Ion Battery together with the ThinkPad Advanced Ultrabay Battery.

Battery life (and recharge times) will vary based on many factors including screen brightness, applications, features, power management, battery conditioning, and other customer preferences.

Note: When operating disconnected from ac power, the ThinkPad will operate on the Ultrabay battery until it is discharged, then switch over to the system battery. When operating on ac power, the system battery will be recharged first, then the Ultrabay battery. This provides maximum unplugged computing time should the Ultrabay battery be removed in order to use another Ultrabay device.
