Debug Tool for z/OS® V6.1 provides interactive source-level debugging tool for compiled applications. Program testing and analysis aid helps examine, monitor, and control execution of application programs written in C, C++, COBOL, or PL/I on z/OS or OS/390® system. Users can debug application as it runs as well as make adjustments to application while debugging. Debug Tool also supports many programming languages and various execution environments.

Debug Tool supports debugging of application programs that run in the following environments:
