Photodiode Power Meter features high power density filter.

September 23, 2005 - Recommended for low power CW and pulsed lasers, Model PD300-3W measures up to 3 W at most wavelengths and up to 150 W/cm² without saturation or damage. It has power range from nW to 3 W and spectral response from 350-1,100 nm. With automatic background subtraction, 95-98% of background is cancelled under normal room conditions. For pulsed lasers, Model PD300-3W has max pulse energy of 20 µJ with filter out and 500 µJ with filter in.

High Power Density Photodiode Power Meter Offers Increased Power Density Up to 150W/cm²

Wilmington, MA August 2005.....Ophir Optronics, Inc. announces that the
PD300-3W photodiode power meter has now been upgraded with a high power density filter so the head can measure up to 3W at most wavelengths and up to 150W/cm² without saturation or damage. The PD300-3W is recommended for low power CW and Pulsed Lasers.

The PD300-3W offers a wide power range from nanowatts up to 3 watts of power. The PD300-3W has a spectral response from 350nm to 1100nm. A special feature of the power meter is the automatic background subtraction. Under normal room conditions, 95-98% of background is cancelled automatically, even when changing continuously.

For Pulsed Lasers, the PD300-3W has a maximum pulse energy of 20µJ with the filter out and 500µJ with the filter in. The PD300-3W is compatible with all the Laserstar series of displays.
