New Technology for Integrated Day-Night(TM) Hi-Impact Domes
Extreme CCTV announces new Omega(TM) (â"¦) LED Geometry for its EX40 Integrated Day-Night(TM) cameras. Omega(TM) technology is precision engineered to maximize infrared output while minimizing internal dome reflection. The EX40 also incorporates an optical lens shield, which helps to eliminate "halo" effects for superior night time images.
- Outstanding color by day
- Evenly-distributed Active-Infrared night vision to 40ft
- Omega(TM) LED Geometry and optical lens shield virtually eliminates internal reflection and halo effects
- Totally vandal resistant design
- Varifocal, auto-iris lens, 4-8mm
The Omega(TM) LEDs are controlled by Extreme's photocell technology, especially designed for IR performance to ensure accurate switching between daytime color and night-time infrared. Mechanical Filter technology ensures outstanding color reproduction and exceptional performance under infrared.
"Omega(TM) technology is an important night vision capability in vandal proof surveillance," says Jack Gin, President and CEO of Extreme CCTV. "This design eliminates internal reflection while other manufacturers have given in to the problem."
