Intended for compressed air preparation, Series AS2 FRLs are made of smooth, lightweight polymer with metal connection threads. Individual parts can be exchanged while system is fully assembled. Oil is fed directly into system via hose from reservoir, protecting maintenance unit from becoming fouled by oil. Lubricator is surrounded by polyamide protective guard with large inspection window. Filtration choices include 5, 0.3 or 0.01 micron.

New AS2 Series from Rexroth - Smooth, Light-weight Modern Design FRLs
All components easily accessible with the Rexroth AS2 series FRLs
The new AS2 series FRLs can fulfill the highest user demands for compressed air preparation. In the AS2 series, the individual processes for air preparation (filtering, regulating, lubricating, and draining) are combined into a single unit geared towards user requirements, such as easy component removal in an assembled state.
The AS2 series of FRLs have a modular design that allows individual parts to be exchanged while the system is fully assembled. A patented oil filling system is used to directly feed oil into the system via a hose from the reservoir. This process protects the maintenance unit from becoming fouled up by oil. The lubricator is surrounded by a polyamide protective guard with a large inspection window that makes it easy to see the oil level. The entire unit can be secured by multiple padlocks and using the built-in locking mechanisms.
Rexroth's new air prep units are made of high-quality polymer, which results in a particularly light-weight system. The smooth surface is easy to clean and resistant to a variety of cleaning agents. Only the connection threads (available in NPT and ISO-G) are made of metal, so they can withstand higher tightening torques.
Filtration choices include 5, 0.3 or 0.01 micron. The condensate drain valve is available in designs that are normally closed or normally open without pressure. This innovation makes it possible to build up the operating pressure in larger systems faster and without any leakage.
