Suited for critical applications in harsh environments, Model EDG-6528L features screw terminals to ensure that power lines are solidly fixed and cannot be accidentally pulled out. It can be mounted on DIN rails or walls, and has operating temperature of 0-70°C, which allows for use in most environments. Switch controller can automatically sense transmission speeds, and all Ethernet ports have memory buffers that support store-and-forward mechanism.

The EDG-6528L provides fast and cost-effective expansion of industrial Ethernet networks with its eight 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, and is suitable for critical applications in harsh environments. Boasting support for a wide voltage range with a flexible screw terminal design, surge protection and DIN-rail mounting, the EDG series is the reliable choice for industrial Ethernet networks.
Several features protect the power inputs of the switch. It is designed with flexible screw terminals to ensure that power lines are solidly fixed and can't be accidentally pulled out. With a wide voltage range from 12 to 48 VDC, unregulated voltages aren't a problem.
Designed with industrial networks in mind, EDG products are easily mounted on DIN rails or on walls, and have a compact design to fit into small control cabinets. An operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C allows for use in most environments.
For more reliable communication, the switch is designed with a switch controller that can automatically sense transmission speeds (10/100 Mbps), and all Ethernet ports have memory buffers that support the "store-and-forward" mechanism. The RJ-45 interface is auto-detected so that MDI or MDIX can be auto-selected, and a crossover cable is not required. In addition, LED indicators make troubleshooting quick and easy.
The EDG series has been developed to meet the requirements for a variety of Ethernet networks, offering everything from compact five-port Ethernet switches for small industrial networks to large rack-mounted switches. The EDG-6528L is expected to be used in semiconductor factories, inventory control environments, assembly lines, product facilities and other areas where network reliability is critical.
