OTTAWA, Aug. 8 -- Impatica Inc., an industry leader in the delivery and viewing of PowerPoint presentations over the Internet and wireless networks, today announced the immediate release and worldwide availability of a significant enhancement to RIM's popular BlackBerry wireless communications solution. Impatica for BlackBerry Enterprise Server expands the functionality of the popular BlackBerry wireless e-mail solution by enabling enterprise level BlackBerry subscribers to receive and view full- featured PowerPoint e-mail attachments on BlackBerry handheld devices.

Users have the ability to navigate forward and backward between slides, zoom to magnify important text and graphics, or revisit a presentation even without wireless coverage. To further ensure a seamless viewing experience, presentations are automatically sized and oriented to fit the target BlackBerry screen.

Impatica for BlackBerry Enterprise Server is an enterprise software product that easily installs behind the customer's firewall alongside the BlackBerry Enterprise Server(TM) (BES). It integrates with Microsoft(R) Exchange, IBM(R) Lotus(R) Domino(TM) and Novell GroupWise(R) e-mail servers and enables PowerPoint viewing for all BlackBerry subscribers associated with the BES.
