September 1, 2005 - Designed to minimize downtime for refitting, resetting, and cleaning, Die Table Segments replace entire standard die table surface plate on tablet press turrets. They eliminate need for dies and die lock screws, and only 10 fasteners are required for installation of 5 segments for 75 stations. Segments also help minimize product loss and wear and tear, and are suited for pharmaceutical and industrial applications.

New Fette Die Table Segments Optimize Production and Increase Output

ROCKAWAY, NJ – Fette, a leading manufacturer and supplier of tablet presses for both pharmaceutical and industrial applications, now offers Fette Die Table Segments that provide optimum tablet production with significantly shorter downtimes for refitting, resetting, and cleaning, it was announced by Rich Derickson, Vice President of Sales & Operations for Fette America.

According to Mr. Derickson, the Fette Die Table Segments can increase output up to 25% with more stations per die table, less product loss, less wear and tear, and simpler, smoother logistics. The Die Table Segments significantly outlast standard dies, including carbide lined dies.

The switch to Fette Die Table Segments can decrease set-up time by as much as 88%. By eliminating the need for dies and die lock screws, the Die Table Segments provide a whole new level of efficiency.

In addition to higher speeds and greater longevity, the Die Table Segments offer decreased Srel for better quality. The Die Table Segments are available on all new Fette tablet press turrets, and can be interchanged with existing standard turrets on your current Fette presses.
