Diamond Power International, Inc. Introduces SentrySeries™ Control Systems
LANCASTER, Ohio--Aug. 16, 2005--- Diamond Power International, Inc. introduced the company's new SentrySeries(TM) Control Systems. The announcement came during opening of the company's 16th annual Western Fuels Conference being held in San Antonio, Texas.
Diamond Power SentrySeries(TM) Control Systems is a suite of boiler cleaning solutions built with industry standard hardware and Human Machine Interface (HMI) software packages that meet specific requirements of the utility and pulp and paper industries.
"We developed Diamond Power SentrySeries(TM) controls with the goal of meeting our customer's current and future needs to protect their assets and enhance profitability," said Charles England, general manager of Diamond Power's Controls and Diagnostic business. "SentrySeries(TM) controls represent a blending of the industry's two best technologies - Diamond Power and Applied Synergistics, Inc. (ASI). Customers can now expect long-term boiler-cleaning solutions with cost-effective migration paths that work toward increasing productivity and reducing costs."
Advantages of Diamond Power(R) SentrySeries(TM) Controls
A key advantage of Diamond Power(R) SentrySeries(TM) controls is its open architecture design. The use of open architecture eliminates the problems often encountered when supporting multi-purpose control systems that use proprietary languages. Plants or mills wanting to modify an existing control system, including existing BOS(R) users, will find the SentrySeries(TM) Control System ideal because it provides easy migration paths and minimal disruptions
Additionally, the SentrySeries(TM) Control System is OPC-based providing easy connectivity to other systems using Ethernet or other serial data link without expensive linking devices.
Finally, Diamond Power SentrySeries controls(TM) provides added system accessibility to real-time data for remote users via virtual private networks (VPN). VPN provides a secure interface for accessing real-time system data for system diagnostics, upgrades, performance monitoring (boiler performance) and system tuning.
