Introducing New OS300 Totally Enclosed Permanent Magnet DC Gearmotors

LEESON has introduced New OS 300 Totally Enclosed Permanent Magnet DC Gearmotors, performance matched for continuous duty service over a 60:1 speed range. All have constant torque throughout the range when powered by a full-wave unfiltered SCR-type adjustable speed control having a typical form factor of 1.3 to 1.4. The motors are designed for battery power however, they can be used with a low voltage controller with a form factor up to 1.05.

LEESON's SCR Gearmotors have the following standard features:

• Precision matched steel gears, with a first stage steel helical gear followed by spur-type gears.

• Permanent semi-fluid grease for lubrication, reducing the possibility of leakage.

• Needle bearings on output shafts for high load capacities.

• Hardened steel shafts

• Designed for mounting at any angle.

LEESON offers a full line of sub fractional gearmotors in ratings from 1/25 to over 1/4 HP. LEESON is a leading supplier of "customerized" motors and gearmotors. The majority of LEESON's permanent magnet DC motors and gearmotors are tailored to meet specific customer needs in material handling and general industrial applications.

LEESON Electric, headquartered in Grafton, Wisconsin, offers AC motors, DC motors, sub-fractional horsepower motors and gearmotors, mechanical gear drives, and AC and DC electronic drives. LEESON products are sold to original equipment manufacturers and distributors by a network of independent manufacturers' representatives, sales offices and international agent distributors. LEESON is a subsidiary of Regal-Beloit Corporation (AMEX: RBC).
